The Realme Pad X is getting closer to its July 26 launch in India. The Chinese conglomerate has begun revealing a few key features that the Pad X will include, the most recent of which is the 'Limelight function,' which is the center of attention.

Limelight Function teased by Realme Pad X

Realme claims that the function intelligently follows the subject's movements and keeps them in the center of the frame for better overall video output. Aside from that, the function includes another feature called 'Camera Auto Framing,' which mimics a real camera by changing the focal length and rotating the gimbal.

The feature will also be available on group video calls with up to five participants. You can test it out on Google Duo, Google Meet, Zoom, and a few other platforms, with more being added as you read this. The underlying algorithm will be in charge of handling call participants and accommodating someone leaving or joining the call in real-time.

Realme's Limelight is similar to Apple's Center Stage functionality for those who are unfamiliar.
