Mahindra has finally unveiled the much-anticipated Scorpio N in India. The popular SUV has now celebrated 20 years of success with the introduction of the Scorpio N in the country. It has a new design that includes the company's new Twin Peaks logo. The booking window for the 2022 Scorpio N opens on July 30.

Mahindra Scorpio N 2022 Prices

The 2022 Mahindra Scorpio N is priced in India at Rs 11.99 lakh for the base petrol model and Rs 19.49 lakh for the top model diesel model. On July 21, the prices for the petrol and diesel variants with 4WD drivetrains will be announced. The pricing for each model is as follows:

For the time being, the aforementioned prices are introductory and will be valid for the first 25,000 bookings across India. Customers who wish to change options such as variant, engine, or colour can do so within two weeks of booking because the company accepts bookings for a token amount of Rs 25,000.

The new Mahindra Scorpio N retains the original boxy silhouette while receiving various cosmetic upgrades. It now has more rounded edges, a multi-slated grilled front face with chrome accents, and a new logo. The 2022 Scorpio N features twin projector LED headlights, LED DRLs, and C-shaped fog lamps.

The new SUV features wider wheel arches and 18-inch machine-cut dual-tone alloy wheels, which improve the side profile. It has textured chrome door handles and a sting chrome window line.

The Scorpio N's rear profile has been updated with vertically stacked LED tail lights, a flat tailgate, and silver bash plates. It also has unique roof rails, a spoiler, and a shark fin antenna.

The interior of the 2022 Scorpio N has been updated with a more technologically advanced 8-inch touchscreen infotainment display with AdrenoX support, a 7-inch digital driver cluster, an electric sunroof, rear AC vents, and built-in Amazon Alexa support. The upholstery is updated with a dual-tone trim in black and tan brown shades. Scorpion N is available in six and seven-seat configurations.

It has 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat mounts, a rear parking camera, hill hold control, hill descent control, ESP, TPMS, and a driver drowsiness detection system as safety features.

Mahindra Scorpio N 2022 Engine

The 2022 ScorpioN has equipped with two engines: a 2.0L mStallion turbo petrol unit and a 2.2L mHawk diesel mill with 6-speed manual or torque converter automatic transmissions.


The petrol engine produces 200bhp and 370/380Nm peak torque, whereas the diesel engine produces different figures. The base model produces 130bhp and 300Nm torque, while the top variant produces 175bhp and 370Nm for manual and 400Nm for automatic transmissions.

The company also introduces the four-wheel drive with a new "4Xplor" trademark that provides increased ground clearance. The model includes terrain modes such as mud, snow, sand, and grass.
